Black (2005) "Bring the light into darkness"

Do you think that if you are born blind and deaf you have no reason to live in this world? Take another guess and watch this beautiful movie about life, hope, beauty, love. May this be another good reason for you to celebrate the wonderful life you have... Cherish every moment, because "life is like an ice-cream, you must enjoy it before it melts". P.S. Tax escapists from Romania get Premier's attention

This is a great pleasure for me to read the news and realize that an old post of mine has come to our Premier Emil Boc's attention. The post has been written a couple of months ago, you can translate it using http://translate.google.com here , it's not an accurate translation but you can get the idea if you do not speak Romanian. What I was talking about in that post was that a lot of people do not ask for the receipt right after buying a product on the market or paying for a service. And all those money go on the black market, because statistics don't take them into consideration. In Romania, people are not afraid from tax evasion, because most of them think that Government does not know how to use their money properly. The big concern here is that there are also people who think they are above the law, they can do whatever they like and show themselves in big houses, cars and defy honest people around them, because they have never used to declare the revenues. They must b

E-mail Etiquette

E-mail etiquette is a set of best practice rules when creating an email and choosing to follow it is good for a proper communication with the people we know. Effective communication is largely tied to what is seen and heard. That is why with e-mail, you remove these abilities, which effectively removes 93% of your ability to communicate. Be aware of this when writing e-mails, because using subtleties will be lost or completely misunderstood. E-mail is a critical communication tool in business and can easily and significantly strengthen or damage your reputation. Even if you write an e-mail to a friend, a well constructed message demonstrates your ability to articulate your thoughts and present data in a clear, tight and compelling way. Bottom line, you showcase your intellect and show respect to your reader. Another aspect is the legal signification of e-mail; e-mails are electronic documents that can be used as proves in case of litigation. Although in Romania there are not legal pu

Subliminal reverse messages from commercial music

Just watch the movie and think for a second, why is that you like some singers so much, because their music is so beautiful, or maybe because they use some "tricks" on your mind? Or maybe because they say on the reverse of their song what they want you to hear or glorify? To proof is simple, if you record and reverse some songs you can hear exactly the phrases from the movie, I have tested it on "No Doubt - It's my life". Pretty scarry I may say to you, you can check it for yourself! Just wonder now if there is a reason why Lady Gaga is so much popular among teenagers on facebook, maybe because she "speaks" so dirty on her reverse melodies, what do you think about that? UPDATE : I love so much Tori Amos's concert from Montreaux 1991, but lately I have found the melody "Father Lucifer" played by her at some other concert. Also questioning is her new look, so dramatically changed. Personally I don't like her new look at all... So I

Flooding in Udesti (Suceava)

These images have been captured by a friend of mine next to his parents house in Udesti, a small village in the north-east of Romania. The flooding was so quick that no one was prepared for it.

My first post in English

Starting today I have decided to write only in English. The reason is quite simple: if somebody wants to read my posts, that someone has to be not only from Romania, but from anywhere around globe. Things I want to talk about in my posts must be heard by everybody. It's a high expectation from myself, but the principle is simple, a lot of things from my country are not known outside its borders, simply because media has a political view, or because they are simplified somehow. Life in Romania is complex and I want to share it through my eyes, knowledge and thinking. Posting from now on is going to be both an experiment and a practice for me, since English is not my first language. So bear with me, please!
